SPARRO, University of Regina physics project.
University of Regina, Photography Department

More than 100 nuclear physicists and graduate students from thirty research institutions in seven countries including the University of Regina began working on a research project in 1998 into the fundamental building blocks of nature. Subatomic Physics at Regina with Research Offshore, or SPARRO, is the name of the research group working on this major international project known as Hall-D GlueX. The purpose of GlueX is to try to create particles that do not exist in nature and determine what holds or glues the particles together.
