Located in the QU’APPELLE VALLEY, on the NE side of Katepwa Lake, on Hwy 56. Settlers arrived in the area in the 1880s and the first cottages were built in the early 1900s. The most significant development, however, has occurred more recently, with year-round populations rising from 45 to 225 over the past several decades. There are 550 cottages and homes at Katepwa Beach, and during the summer months the population can reach 1,000. The community encompasses Katepwa Point Provincial Park.
